Influence of temperature on frequency domain spectroscopy detection of transformer bushings

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2022
Frequency domain spectroscopy (FDS) technology has been widely used to evaluate the insulation state of electrical equipment. However, there are still many in-adaptability when using FDS technology to evaluate the insulation state of transformer bushings.

Domain of Influence Analysis: Implications for Data Assimilation in Space Weather Forecasting

open access: yesFrontiers in Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2020
Solar activity, ranging from the background solar wind to energetic coronal mass ejections (CMEs), is the main driver of the conditions in the interplanetary space and in the terrestrial space environment, known as space weather.

Folded domain charge properties influence the conformational behavior of disordered tails

open access: yesCurrent Research in Structural Biology, 2021
Intrinsically disordered proteins and protein regions (IDRs) make up around 30% of the human proteome where they play essential roles in dictating and regulating many core biological processes.

Influence of domain walls and defects on the electrocaloric effect

open access: yesJPhys Energy, 2023
The electrocaloric (EC) effect is the adiabatic temperature change of a material in a varying external electric field, which is promising for novel cooling devices.

Topography Influence on the Lake Equations in Bounded Domains [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Fluid Mechanics, 2013
We investigate the influence of the topography on the lake equations which describe the two-dimensional horizontal velocity of a three-dimensional incompressible flow. We show that the lake equations are structurally stable under Hausdorff approximations of the fluid domain and $L^p$ perturbations of the depth.

Influence of Synchronized Domain Visualizations on Program Comprehension [PDF]

open access: yes2010 IEEE 18th International Conference on Program Comprehension, 2010
An effective program comprehension is reached when it is possible to view and relate what happens when the program is executed, synchronized with its effects in the real world concepts. This enables the interconnection of program’s meaning at both problem and program domains.

Same but not alike: Structure, flexibility and energetics of domains in multi-domain proteins are influenced by the presence of other domains. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS Computational Biology, 2018
The majority of the proteins encoded in the genomes of eukaryotes contain more than one domain. Reasons for high prevalence of multi-domain proteins in various organisms have been attributed to higher stability and functional and folding advantages over ...
