Ontology as Structure, Domain and Definition
The paper presents a spatio-temporal ontology guided by a particular methodology, in which the semantics is constructed within a spatio-temporal interpretation structure that is built up in three stages. The first, stage stipulates a standard classical model of time and space. This structure forms the grounding for the interpretation. The next stage is

Ontology Alignment in the Urban Domain
Concepts in the domain of Urban Civil Engineering are often categorized and described using ontologies. Such ontologies may be designed independently by domain experts who have a minimal communication or no communication between them. As a result, similar concepts may be described differently and their categorization may result in heterogeneous ...

This study uncovers an unusual RNAi pathway in the rhizarian pathogen Plasmodiophora brassicae. In the absence of Dicer, a Drosha‐like RNase III protein supports the biogenesis of predominant 21‐nt small RNAs, and two Argonaute proteins mediate small RNA‐guided silencing.

Sustainable Materials Design With Multi‐Modal Artificial Intelligence
Critical mineral scarcity, high embodied carbon, and persistent pollution from materials processing intensify the need for sustainable materials design. This review frames the problem as multi‐objective optimization under heterogeneous, high‐dimensional evidence and highlights multi‐modal AI as an enabling pathway.

Early Retinal UCHL1 Dysregulation Coupled With Synaptic Loss Reflects Alzheimer's Disease Severity
This study identifies synapse‐enriched deubiquitinase UCHL1 as an early Aβ‐responsive regulator of retinal synaptopathy in Alzheimer's disease. Retinal UCHL1 loss accompanies excitatory synapse degeneration, p75NTR activation, and neuroinflammation, and predicts Braak stage and cognitive decline. Aβ42 fibrils trigger synaptic and UCHL1 depletion before

Decoupling biological signals from unwanted variation in multi‑condition single‑cell RNA sequencing data remains challenging. CAPER disentangles condition‑associated biological effects from sample heterogeneity through matrix factorization, producing interpretable latent factors and a batch‑corrected expression matrix.
