Dynamical domain wall fermions [PDF]
We report on an exploratory study of N_f=2 dynamical domain wall fermions and the DBW2 gauge action at weak coupling. Details of improved simulation algorithms and preliminary results for the hadron spectrum and renormalised light and strange quark masses will be presented.

Magnetic domain-wall tilting due to domain-wall speed asymmetry [PDF]
Chiral magnetic materials provide a number of challenging issues such as the highly efficient domain wall (DW) and skyrmion motions driven by electric current, as of the operation principles of emerging spintronic devices. The DWs in the chiral materials exhibit asymmetric DW speed variation under application of in plane magnetic field.

Intercompartmental communication in senescence
Senescent cells experience structural changes in the plasma membrane, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, lysosomes, nucleus, and cytoskeleton. These alterations disrupt crosstalk among cellular compartments, impairing vesicular trafficking, contact sites, and molecular flow.

Topological Edge States on Different Domain Walls of Two Opposed Helical Waveguide Arrays
Floquet topological insulators (FTIs) have richer topological properties than static systems. In this work, we designed different domain wall (DW) structures consisting of a Floquet photonic lattice with opposite helical directions.

Nonvolatile ferroelectric domain wall memory
A nonvolatile highly scalable multilevel memory based on ferroelectric domain walls is demonstrated. Ferroelectric domain walls are atomically sharp topological defects that separate regions of uniform polarization.

Ferroelectric Domain Wall Injection
Ferroelectric domain wall injection has been demonstrated by engineering of the local electric field, using focused ion beam milled defects in thin single crystal lamellae of KTiOPO4 (KTP). The electric field distribution (top) displays localized field hot-spots, which correlate with nucleation events (bottom).

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...

Rashba induced chirality switching of domain walls and suppression of the Walker breakdown
In conventional domain wall systems the aim of a high domain wall velocity may be hindered by the occurrence of a Walker breakdown at comparably low current density.

Analytic solution of the domain-wall nonequilibrium stationary state [PDF]
We consider the out-of-equilibrium dynamics generated by joining two domains with arbitrary opposite magnetizations. We study the stationary state which emerges by the unitary evolution via the spin-1/2 XXZ Hamiltonian, in the gapless regime, where the ...
