The interaction of transverse domain walls

Starting from an analytical expression for the magnetization in the wall, the monopole, dipole, and quadrupole moments are derived and their impact on the interaction is investigated using the surface and volume charges. Dynamics of thick domain walls
Physical Review D, 1989The dynamics of thick domain walls are studied in the context of the classical field theory for a real scalar field. We treat, by numerically solving the equation of motion for the scalar field, the collision of two plane-symmetric walls as well as the collapse of walls that have spherical and cylindrical symmetry.

Construction of curved domain walls
Physical Review E, 2008The evolution of the domain wall is reduced to the dynamics of the membrane. The rigorous construction of curved membranes in the real scalar field models with domain-wall solutions is presented. An example of the curved membrane is discussed in detail. The curved domain-wall solutions are constructed.
