QCD with domain wall quarks [PDF]
We present lattice calculations in QCD using a variant of Kaplan fermions which retain the continuum SU(N)xSU(N) chiral symmetry on the lattice in the limit of an infinite extra dimension.

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

Domain-Wall Enhanced Pyroelectricity
Ferroelectric domain walls are not just static geometric boundaries between polarization domains; they are, in fact, dynamic and functional interfaces with the potential for diverse technological applications.

Dynamical domain wall and localization
Based on the previous works (Toyozato et al., 2013 [24]; Higuchi and Nojiri, 2014 [25]), we investigate the localization of the fields on the dynamical domain wall, where the four-dimensional FRW universe is realized on the domain wall in the five ...

Searching for a new scheme to control the antiferromagnetic (AFM) domain wall is one of the most important issues for AFM spintronic devices. In this work, we study theoretically the domain wall motion of an AFM nanowire, driven by the axial anisotropy ...

Dilaton Black Holes on Thick Branes [PDF]
We study a black hole domain wall system in dilatonic gravity being the low-energy limit of the string theory. Using the C-metric construction we derive the metric for an infinitisemally thin domain wall intersecting dilaton black hole.

Skyrmion domain wall collision and domain wall-gated skyrmion logic [PDF]
Skyrmions and domain walls are significant spin textures of great technological relevance to magnetic memory and logic applications, where they can be used as carriers of information. The unique topology of skyrmions makes them display emergent dynamical properties as compared with domain walls. Some studies have demonstrated that the two topologically

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Energy and Structure of the Terbium Domain Wall
The domain wall energy is calculated by the balance between exchange, magnetocrystalline anisotropy and magnetoelastic energy contributions. The described method is theoretical and is based on experimental measurements of neutron inelastic scattering ...
