Geometrical Dependence of Domain-Wall Propagation and Nucleation Fields in Magnetic-Domain-Wall Sensors [PDF]
We study the key domain wall properties in segmented nanowires loop-based structures used in domain wall based sensors. The two reasons for device failure, namely the distribution of domain wall propagation field (depinning) and the nucleation field are determined with Magneto-Optical Kerr Effect (MOKE) and Giant Magnetoresistance (GMR) measurements ...

Domain wall propagation in Fe-rich magnetic microwires with graded magnetic anisotropy
We observed that stress-annealing of Fe75B9Si12C4 magnetic microwire at variable annealing temperature allows to create graded magnetic anisotropy. We have found that single domain wall (DW) propagation in a media with graded magnetic anisotropy is ...

As-prepared Fe-rich microwires with perfectly rectangular hysteresis loops present magnetization reversal through fast domain wall propagation, while the giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) effect in Fe-rich microwires is rather low.

Propagation of spin waves through a Néel domain wall [PDF]
Spin waves have the potential to be used as a next-generation platform for data transfer and processing as they can reach wavelengths in the nanometer range and frequencies in the terahertz range. To realize a spin-wave device, it is essential to be able to manipulate the amplitude as well as the phase of spin waves.

Domain-wall dynamics at micropatterned constrictions in ferromagnetic (Ga,Mn)As epilayers [PDF]
The influence of sub-µm geometric constrictions on 90° magnetic domain-wall nucleation and propagation in stripes of ferromagnetic (Ga0.95,Mn0.05)As was explored.

High temperature meson propagators with domain-wall quarks [PDF]
We study the chiral properties of domain-wall quarks at high temperatures on an ensemble of quenched configurations. Low lying eigenmodes of the Dirac operator are calculated and used to check the extent to which the Atiyah-Singer index theorem is obeyed on lattices with finite $N_5$.

Instability of Walker Propagating Domain Wall in Magnetic Nanowires [PDF]
Stability of the well-known Walker propagating domain wall (DW) solution of the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation is analytically investigated. Surprisingly, the Walker's rigid body propagating DW mode is not stable against the spin wave/wavepacket emission.

Domain wall dynamics of magnetically bistable microwires
We studied domain wall propagation of magnetically-bistable Fe- Co-rich microwires paying attention on effect of applied and internal stresses. We measured hysteresis loops and domain wall propagation in various magnetic Fe- Co-rich amorphous microwires ...

Single Diameter Modulation Effects on Ni Nanowire Array Magnetization Reversal
Geometrically modulated magnetic nanowires are a simple yet efficient strategy to modify the magnetic domain wall propagation since a simple diameter modulation can achieve its pinning during the nanowire magnetization reversal. However, in dense systems
