Domain wall dynamics of magnetically bistable microwires [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
We studied domain wall propagation of magnetically-bistable Fe- Co-rich microwires paying attention on effect of applied and internal stresses. We measured hysteresis loops and domain wall propagation in various magnetic Fe- Co-rich amorphous microwires ...

Single Domain Wall Propagation at Low Fields

open access: yesActa Physica Polonica A, 2014
We have studied the domain wall propagation at low elds regime in thin glass-coated microwire of composition Fe77.5Si7.5B15. It is shown, that power law describes domain wall dynamics at low elds. Such behaviour results from the interaction of the propagating domain wall with the defects present in the material.

Modeling magnetic-field-induced domain wall propagation in modulated-diameter cylindrical nanowires. [PDF]

open access: yesSci Rep, 2019
International audienceDomain wall propagation in modulated-diameter cylindrical nanowires is a key phenomenon to be studied with a view to designing three-dimensional magnetic memory devices.

Optimization of Magnetoimpedance Effect and Magnetic Properties of Fe-Rich Glass-Coated Microwires by Annealing

open access: yesSensors, 2023
As-prepared Fe-rich microwires with perfectly rectangular hysteresis loops present magnetization reversal through fast domain wall propagation, while the giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) effect in Fe-rich microwires is rather low.

Instability of Walker Propagating Domain Wall in Magnetic Nanowires [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2013
Stability of the well-known Walker propagating domain wall (DW) solution of the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation is analytically investigated. Surprisingly, the Walker's rigid body propagating DW mode is not stable against the spin wave/wavepacket emission.

Domain wall motion in thin ferromagnetic nanotubes: Analytic results [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Dynamics of magnetization domain walls (DWs) in thin ferromagnetic nanotubes subject to weak longitudinal external fields is addressed analytically in the regimes of strong and weak penalization.

All-Magnonic Spin-Transfer Torque and Domain Wall Propagation [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2011
The spin wave transportation through a transverse magnetic domain wall (DW) in a magnetic nanowire is studied. It is found that spin wave passes through a DW without reflection. A magnon, the quantum of the spin wave, carries opposite spins on the two sides of the DW.

Barkhausen Noise from Precessional Domain Wall Motion [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The jerky dynamics of domain walls driven by applied magnetic fields in disordered ferromagnets - the Barkhausen effect - is a paradigmatic example of crackling noise. We study Barkhausen noise in disordered Pt/Co/Pt thin films due to precessional motion

Dynamic dependence to domain wall propagation through artificial spin ice [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Domain wall propagation dynamics has been studied in nanostructured artificial kagome spin-ice structures. A stripline circuit has been used to provide localized pulsed magnetic fields within the artificial spin-ice (ASI) structure. This provides control
