The urban mine of the Netherlands: The material basis for a circular economy
Abstract Resources are essential for humanity's well‐being and development. At the same time, resources lay at the heart of many environmental problems. A sustainable resource use facilitates development but reduces environmental problems. This apparent contradiction can be solved by moving toward a circular economy: keeping resources, once extracted ...

ABSTRACT A novel high‐performance liquid chromatography method for the enantioseparation of mirabegron (R‐mirabegron), a selective β‐3 adrenergic receptor agonist, using cyclodextrin (CD)‐based chiral stationary phases (CSPs) was developed. Seven different CSPs containing β‐, γ‐, hydroxypropyl‐β‐, sulfobutyl‐β‐, carboxymethyl‐β‐, permethyl‐β‐, and ...

Assessing and enhancing the circularity and sustainability of emergency hospital shelters
Abstract Leading humanitarian organisations strive to enhance the sustainability of their aid to avoid negative impacts on the environment, economy, and society, particularly in low‐resource areas. This study explores how the circularity and sustainability of emergency hospital shelters can be assessed using literature, expert interviews, co‐creation ...

As an effective addition to the hesitant fuzzy set (HFS), a probabilistic dual hesitant fuzzy set (PDHFS) has been designed in this paper. PDHFS would be an improved version of the dual hesitant fuzzy set (DHFS) where both membership and nonmembership hesitant quality is considered for all its probability of existence.

Picture hesitant fuzzy soft sets (PHFSSs) are a relatively new concept in the field of soft computing, which combines hesitant fuzzy sets, fuzzy soft sets, and picture theory. This combination allows for a more comprehensive and flexible approach to decision‐making problems that involve uncertainty and vagueness.

The combination of heterogeneous photocatalysis with chemical and physical operations: a tool for improving the photoprocess performance [PDF]
Heterogeneous photocatalysis is a process of great potential for pollutant abatement and waste treatment. In order to improve the overall performance of the photoprocess, heterogeneous photocatalysis is being combined with physical or chemical operations,

In this paper, we give the concept of novel globular T‐spherical fuzzy sets (G‐TSFSs) as an innovative extension of TSFSs and circular spherical fuzzy sets (C‐SFSs). G‐TSFSs represent membership, indeterminacy, and nonmembership degrees using a globular/sphere bound that can offer a more accurate portrayal of vague, ambiguous, and imprecise information.
