The rex mutants of the domestic cat

New data demonstrate that the Cornish and German rox mutants are either identical or are phenotypically closely similar alleles at the same locus. The Devon rex is definitely independent of Cornish and it seems probable that the Oregon rex is independent of Cornish and Devon.
