Circumstellar matter studied by spectrally-resolved interferometry [PDF]
This paper describes some generalities about spectro-interferometry and the role it has played in the last decade for the better understanding of circumstellar matter.

Physics of rotation: problems and challenges
We examine some debated points in current discussions about rotating stars: the shape, the gravity darkening, the critical velocities, the mass loss rates, the hydrodynamical instabilities, the internal mixing and N--enrichments.

Two-dimensional models of early-type fast rotating stars: new challenges in stellar physics
Two-dimensional models of rapidly rotating stars are already unavoidable for the interpretation of interferometric or asteroseismic data of this kind of stars.

Nucleosynthesis from massive stars 50 years after B2FH
We review some important observed properties of massive stars. Then we discuss how mass loss and rotation affect their evolution and help in giving better fits to observational constraints.

Differential rotation in early type stars [PDF]
Using 2D models of rotating stars, the interferometric measurements of alpha Eri and its fundamental parameters corrected for gravitational darkening effects we infer that the star might have a core rotating 2.7 times faster than the surface.

Optical Intensity Interferometry with the Cherenkov Telescope Array
With its unprecedented light-collecting area for night-sky observations, the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) holds great potential for also optical stellar astronomy, in particular as a multi-element intensity interferometer for realizing imaging with ...

Effects of Uniform and Differential Rotation on Stellar Pulsations
We have investigated the effects of uniform rotation and a specific model for differential rotation on the pulsation frequencies of 10 \Msun\ stellar models. Uniform rotation decreases the frequencies for all modes.
