Variable Consistency Model of Dominance-Based Rough Sets Approach
Information Sciences, 2001Consideration of preference-orders requires the use of an extended rough set model called Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA). The rough approximations defined within DRSA are based on consistency in the sense of dominance principle. It requires that objects having not-worse evaluation with respect to a set of considered criteria than a referent ...

Generalizing Rough Set Theory Through Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach
2005Ordinal properties of data related to preferences have been taken into account in the Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA). We show that DRSA is also relevant in case where preferences are not considered but a kind of monotonicity relating attribute values is meaningful for the analysis of data at hand.

On Topological Dominance-based Rough Set Approach
2010In this article, we characterize the Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA) from the point of view of its topological properties. Using the concept of a bitopological space, we extend to DRSA the classical results known for the original rough set approach. Moreover, we introduce a topological approach to ordinal classification.

On Variable Consistency Dominance-Based Rough Set Approaches
2006We consider different variants of Variable Consistency Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (VC-DRSA). These variants produce more general (extended) lower approximations than those computed by Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA), (i.e., lower approximations that are supersets of those computed by DRSA).

Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach
2019Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA) is an extension of conventional Rough Set Theory. The conventional approach does not take into consideration the dominance relation among the objects while considering the universe. DRSA, on the other hand, considers this relation as well and thus takes RST a step ahead.

Algebraic Structures for Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach
2008Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA) has been proposed to generalize classical rough set approach when monotonicity between memberships to considered concepts has to be taken into account. This is typical for data describing various phenomena, e.g., "the larger the mass and the smaller the distance, the larger the gravity".

Fuzzy Set Extensions of the Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach
2007Rough set theory has been proposed by Pawlak in the early 80s to deal with inconsistency problems following from information granulation. It operates on an information table composed of a set U of objects described by a set Q of condition and decision attributes. Decision attributes make a partition of U into decision classes.
