Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach for Possibilistic Information Systems
2011In this paper, we propose a dominance-based fuzzy rough set approach for the decision analysis of a preference-ordered possibilistic information systems, which is comprised of a finite set of objects described by a finite set of criteria. The domains of the criteria may have ordinal properties that express preference scales.

Extensions of dominance-based rough set approach in incomplete information system
Automatic Control and Computer Sciences, 2008As one of the useful extensions of classical rough set approach, the dominance-based rough set approach has been successfully applied into multi-criteria decision problems. However, the traditional dominance-based rough set approach is only suitable for the condition attributes, which are positively related with classification analysis.

Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach for Decision Analysis - A Tutorial
2008Scientific analysis of decision problems aims at giving the decision maker (DM) a recommendation concerning a set of objects (called also alternatives, solutions, acts, actions, cases, candidates) evaluated wiht respect to a plurality of their characteristics considered relevant for the problem at hand, and called attributes.

Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach to Interactive Multiobjective Optimization
2008In this chapter, we present a new method for interactive multiobjective optimization, which is based on application of a logical preference model built using the Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA). The method is composed of two main stages that alternate in an interactive procedure.

Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach as a Proper Way of Handling Graduality in Rough Set Theory
2007Referring to some ideas of Leibniz, Frege, Boole and Ĺukasie-wicz, we represent fundamental concepts of rough set theory in terms of a generalization that permits to deal with the graduality of fuzzy sets. Our conjunction of rough sets and fuzzy sets is made using the Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA).

Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach Using Possibility and Necessity Measures
2002Dominance-based rough set approach is an extension of the basic rough set approach proposed by Pawlak, to multicriteria classification problems. In this paper, the dominance-based rough set approach is considered in the context of vague information on preferences and decision classes.

Dominance-based rough set approach to incomplete fuzzy information system
2008 IEEE International Conference on Granular Computing, 2008Although many extended rough set models have been successfully applied into the incomplete information system, most of them do not take the incomplete information system with initial fuzzy data into account. This paper thus presents a general framework for the study of dominance-based rough set model in the incomplete fuzzy information systems.

A Comprehensive Study on Reducts in Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach
2008In this paper, we propose new reducts in the dominance-based rough set approach. The relations with previous ones are clarified. Moreover, a comprehensive enumeration method of all kinds of reducts is proposed. We show that all kinds of reducts are enumerated based on two discernibility matrices associated with generalized decisions.

Algebra and Topology for Dominance-Based Rough Set Approach
2010Dominance-based rough sets generalize classical indiscernibility based rough sets by handling ordered value sets of attributes and monotonic relationships between values of condition and decision attributes. Dominance based rough sets permit, in particular, a natural hybridization of fuzziness and roughness, which are complementary concepts of ...
