Note on two dominance principles in decision theory
Unternehmensforschung Operations Research - Recherche Opérationnelle, 1968Two partial ordering relations (called dominance principles and interpreted as preference relations) may be defined on the class of all real valued random variablesX: (I)X1≻X0 if there exists an expanding functionf such thatf(X0) has the same distribution asX1. (II)X1≻X0 ifF1 (x)≤F0 (x),F1,F0 being the distribution functions ofX1,X0.

The EMMS Principle: Compromise Between Competing Dominant Mechanisms
2014Dynamic heterogeneous structures that appear on the mesoscales between element and system scales make correlating microscale and macroscale difficult (Fig. 2.1). Such heterogeneous structures are currently bottlenecks that prevent us from fully understanding the behavior of complex systems in science, engineering, nature, and even society.

Power system stabilisation using the dominant subsystem principle
IEE Proceedings - Generation, Transmission and Distribution, 1994The paper presents a new approach to the problem of large-scale power system stabilisation using the dominant subsystem principle. Sufficient conditions are derived for system stabilisation using local decentralised controllers, guaranteeing the dynamic stability of the power system.

Dominance Principle and Creativity in Human Brain Functions
2015This paper introduces the methodology of systemic research in human psychophysiology. Based on ample experimental material we demonstrate the system-forming role of A.A. Ukhtomsky’s dominance principle in various psychophysiological functions and states.
