Private capital formation: Short- and long-run crowding-in (out) effects in ASEAN, 1971-99 [PDF]
This study presents an empirical assessment of the factors that have stimulated (deterred) private investment in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) economies during the past three decades. The results for the short-run suggest that output

Multiquark correlations inside hadrons can have a significant and in some cases even striking impact on the hadron spectrum. We show how such correlations in general, and mesons with a dominant tetraquark content in particular, emerge holographically in ...

This study develops sustainable MgO–C refractories using recycled materials and eco‐friendly fructose–tannin binders. The enhanced performance of citric acid as a cross‐linker and functional additives on mechanical and thermomechanical properties was examined. Characterization included strength tests, immersion trials, and microstructural and inclusion

This study reports lightweight polyetherimide triply periodic minimal surfaces lattices coated with carbon nanotube‐reinforced epoxy that combine mechanical robustness with self‐sensing. The conformal coating enhances stiffness, strength and energy absorption while enabling reliable strain monitoring.

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

Investigating the effect of the Dominant Hand on Grip Strength and Hand Dexterity [PDF]
Introduction: In all societies, tools and equipment are generally designed for right-handed people, who make up approximately 90% of the population, but left-handed and ambidextrous people (those who use both hands in manual activities) also live among ...

Meat Grinder Injury to the Hand: Serial Cases [PDF]
Introduction.Although meat grinder injury to the hand is not a common case, it causes a wide spectrum of injuries that result not only in tremendous physical and emotional pain but also substantial economic impact as well.Case presentation.Three ...

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.
