On graphs for which the connected domination number is at most the total domination number
AbstractIn this note, we give a finite forbidden subgraph characterization of the connected graphs for which any non-trivial connected induced subgraph has the property that the connected domination number is at most the total domination number. This question is motivated by the fact that any connected dominating set of size at least 2 is in particular

AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

Co-Secure Domination in Jump Graphs for Enhanced Security
This study proposes a general approach to protect graphs using co-secure domination within jump graphs. In the context of graphs, a dominating set is a group of vertices that are either directly linked or connected to all other vertices within the graph.

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Bounds on the strong domination number
Let \(G=(V(G),E(G))\) be a graph. A set \(D\subseteq V(G)\) is a strong dominating set of \(G\), if for every vertex \(x\in V(G)-D\), there exists a vertex \(y\in D\) such that \(xy\in E(D)\) and \(d(x,G)\leq d(y,G)\). The strong domination number \({\gamma}_{\text{st}}(G)\) is defined as the minimum cardinality of a strong dominating set.

We evaluated circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) detection in advanced pancreatic cancer using DNA methylation, cell‐free DNA fragment lengths, and 5′ end motifs. Machine learning models were trained to estimate ctDNA levels from each feature and their combination.

A bioinformatics screen identifies TCF19 as an aggressiveness‐sustaining gene in prostate cancer
Gene expression meta‐analysis in multiple prostate cancer patient cohorts identifies Transcription factor 19 (TCF19) as an aggressiveness‐sustaining gene with prognostic potential. TCF19 is a gene repressed by androgen signaling that sustains core cancer‐related processes such as vascular permeability or tumor growth and metastasis.
