Erving Goffman at 100: A Chameleon Seen as a Rorschach Test within a Kaleidoscope
The 100th anniversary of Erving Goffman's birth was in 2022. Drawing on his work, the Goffman archives, the secondary literature, and personal experiences with him and those in his university of Chicago cohort, I reflect on some implications of his work and life, and the inseparable issues of understanding society.

Abstract The tribe Browallieae is a monophyletic group comprising Browallia and Streptosolen. These genera are of significant interest in the horticulture industry due to their ornamental potential. Despite their clear placement in Solanaceae, the tribe presents several taxonomic, phylogenetic, and nomenclatural challenges.

Iowa Population Exposures to Metals and Metalloids in Well Water
ABSTRACT Previous Iowa studies suggest low levels and chronic arsenic exposures are associated with prostate cancer. The rural Iowa population heavily relies on private wells for drinking water resources and thus is vulnerable to contaminants such as heavy metals found in well water.
