Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

The Anti-Doping Rules

open access: yes
Anti-Doping Rules, like Competition rules, are rules governing the conditions under which sport is played. Participants accept these rules as a condition of participation in sport. These Anti-Doping Rules are not intended to be subject to, or limited by,

Different societies, different conditions : Lessons from anti-doping in elite-sport on a global level

open access: yes, 2017
Justice and fairness in sport is fundamental for its legitimate existence. On a global level, the creation of the World Anti-Doping Agency and the regulatory framework World Anti-Doping Code was formed largely as a consequence of the need for a ...

The Ni,Cd Heteroatoms‐Initiated Synergistic Tuning of Electron Configuration in Fe2VO4 Nanosheets Electrocatalysts to Profoundly Stabilize Alkaline Seawater Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Ni,Cd‐codoped Fe2VO4/NF bifunctional electrocatalyst is rationally designed for efficient seawater electrolysis. Synergistic effect modulates electron configuration, optimizes intermediates adsorption, stabilizes high‐valence Fe/V sites, and repels chloride ions to suppress corrosion and side reactions, thus contributing to performance improvement of

Ultrasensitive Anti‐Stokes Luminescence Thermometry in Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Monolayers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a highly sensitive nanothermometer using anti‐Stokes photoluminescence, also known as photoluminescence upconversion (UPL), in monolayer tungsten disulfide. A strong resonantly enhanced UPL is observed, confirming the central role of optical phonons in the PL upconversion mechanism.

Medicalization of Sport? A Mixed-Method Study on the Use of Medications in Elite Ice Hockey

open access: yesSports
Ice hockey is a high-risk sport known for its dominant macho culture. The purpose of this study was to examine experiences surrounding medication use among male, elite ice hockey players in Norway. A mixed-method design was employed, which first examined

Chlorination‐Enabled Oxygen Control and Dual‐Sulfur Source Aided Trap Passivation to Unlock 8.24% Efficient Sb2S3 Photovoltaic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates a scalable, low‐temperature synthesis strategy that combines a thioacetamide (TA)‐based dual sulfur source with CdS chlorination, enabling the formation of high‐quality Sb2S3 with a reduced open‐circuit voltage loss, resulting in improved device efficiency.
