Second‐Degree Atrioventricular Block With Steroid‐Induced Diabetes Mellitus in a Miniature Poodle

This report presents a case of Mobitz Type II second‐degree atrioventricular block in a Miniature Poodle with prednisolone‐induced diabetic ketosis. Treatment with porcine lente insulin led to clinical improvement, stable blood glucose curve, normal ketone levels and resolution of the atrioventricular block.
