The CO2 laser frequency stability measurements [PDF]

open access: yes
Carbon dioxide laser frequency stability data are considered for a receiver design that relates to maximum Doppler frequency and its rate of change. Results show that an adequate margin exists in terms of data acquisition, Doppler tracking, and bit error

Critical Limitations in Cryogenic Laser Cooling of Solids: Symmetry‐Related Fluorescence Trapping and Condensation‐Induced Parasitic Heating

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uncovers two overlooked bottlenecks in cryogenic laser cooling of solids: symmetry‐driven fluorescence trapping and water vapor condensation. We demonstrate that breaking sample symmetry enhances fluorescence escape, while condensation dominates parasitic heating below 135 K.

A Micro-Doppler Modulation of Spin Projectile on CW Radar

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences, 2017
To obtain the spin speed of projectile effectively, a micro-Doppler modulation model of rotating projectile measured by continuous-wave radar (CW radar) is introduced.

STING Agonist‐Modified Tumor Targeting Photosensitizer Remodels Cancer‐Associated Fibroblasts to Potentiate Photoimmunotherapy in Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This carrier‐free, esterase‐responsive nanoaggregate integrates a mitochondria‐targeting photosensitizer with a non‐nucleotide STING agonist to achieve localized photoactivation and immune reprogramming. ICyM2 remodels tumor stroma, induces potent immunogenic cell death, and triggers intratumoral STING activation, collectively revitalizing the ...

Optical frequency standards for gravitational wave detection using satellite Doppler velocimetry

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2015
Gravitational waves (GWs) imprint apparent Doppler shifts on the frequency of photons propagating between an emitter and detector of light. This forms the basis of a method to detect GWs using Doppler velocimetry between pairs of satellites. Operating in

Real‐Time and High‐Resolution NIR‐II‐L Imaging of Netrin‐1‐Mediated Neurovascular Coupling Driven by Dose‐Dependent Electroacupuncture

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Disrupted neurovascular coupling contributes to ovarian dysfunction in polycystic ovary syndrome. Using near‑infrared II long‑wavelength imaging, this study visualizes how electroacupuncture dynamically regulates ovarian blood vessels in vivo. Immediate and cumulative stimulation elicit distinct vascular responses via a Netrin‐1 dependent mechanism ...

Ultrasonic Doppler measurement of renal artery blood flow [PDF]

open access: yes
Studies were made of (1) blood flow redistribution during lower body negative pressure (LBNP), (2) the profile of blood flow across the mitral annulus of the heart (both perpendicular and parallel to the commissures), (3) testing and evaluation of a ...
