Longidorus iranicus n.sp. (Nematoda: Dorylaimida)
Systematic Parasitology, 1983Longidorus iranicus n.sp. is described from the north-western part of Iran, where it was found in the rhizosphere of grape and other cultivated plants. Its main features are a 5-7 mm long and rather slender body, a narrow, rounded lip region which is almost continuous with neck contour, an odontostyle length around 110 μm, a short, bluntly conoid tail,

Redescription of three Italian species of Labronema Thorne, 1939 (Dorylaimida: Dorylaimidae)
Nematology, 2019Summary This contribution presents a redescription of three Labronema species originally described from Italy: L. angeloi, L. carusoi and L. pulchrum. Their type material is re-examined, described and illustrated with line drawings and micrographs.

Summary A new species of Crassolabium, C. costaricense sp. n., collected from natural habitats in Costa Rica, is described and illustrated. The new species is characterised by its body length of 1.26 (1.22-1.30) mm in the female and 1.28 (1.16-1.37) mm in the male, lip region nearly continuous and 13.5 (12.5-14.5) μm broad in the female and 13.1 (12.5 ...

Morphology and Taxonomy of Bathyodontina (Dorylaimida)
Nematologica, 1970Detailed studies of the morphology of head region and stoma with associated muscles of Mononchulus, Oionchus and Bathyodontus show that it is justified to regard these genera as representing a taxonomic unit. This is further supported by the location of the oesophageal gland nuclei and orifices.

Ultrastructure of Dorylaimidae
1975It is likely that Longidoridae evolved from free-living, probably dorylaimoid, ancestors. From this point of view, the study of Dorylaimidae is like looking in the past, giving a better insight in the adaptive changes that occurred during the evolution of these phytoparasites.
