Longidorus Vineacola N. Sp. (Nematoda: Dorylaimidae)

In der Rhizosphare von Reben wurde eine neue Longidorus-Art gefunden, die als L. vineacola n. sp. beschrieben wird. Sie ist gegenuber L. goodeyi, der am nachsten verwandten Art, in erster Linie durch grosere Schlankheit, breiteren und kurzeren Schwanz, deutlicher abgesetzte Lippenregion und haufiges Auftreten von Mannchen gekennzeichnet.

The Genus Xiphinema (Dorylaimida) in Surinam

Investigation of the Xiphinema material collected in Surinam by den Ouden in 1964 and by Maas in 1965-1970 showed six species to occur, four of which are new. X. filicaudatum n. sp. is characterized by a spear length of 300 μ or more and by its very long filiform tail. X. surinamense n.

Mononchina (Dorylaimida) from Western Malaysia

AbstractThe results of a survey of the mononchs found in 20 soil samples from Western Malaysia is presented. Twenty species were found, of which seven are new to science, although one of these (Iotonchulus sp. A) is not formally named as only a single female was found. Parahadronchus selangorensis n. sp.

The Oesophageal Gland Nuclei of Longidoridae (Dorylaimida)

The basal part of the oesophagus in Longidoridae contains five gland orifices in the normal positions, but the nuclei of the second ventrosublateral pair of glands have disappeared. Xiphinema is characterized by DO and DN lying quite anteriorly in the enlarged part; in Longidorus the distance DO-DN is much longer. Furthermore in Longidorus DN is oblong

Carcharolaimus taurus n. sp., about 1.25 mm long, with vulva at 52-53%, has a cuticularised labial framework of 6 sectors, and blunt conoid tail longer than the anal body diameter. The male has 7 ventromedian supplements. C. multicostatus n. sp., about 1 mm long, with vulva at 53-57%, has a cuticularised labial framework with 48 ribs, blunt conoid tail

Longidoridae (Nematoda: Dorylaimida) of Fruška Gora

Present records of longidorid nematodes of Fruška Gora comprise three species from the genus Longidorus (L. helveticus, L. juglandicola, L. silvae) and five species of the genus Xiphinema (X. dentatum, X. pachtaicum, X. simile, X. taylori, X. vuittenezi).
