Influence of Temperature on the Radiation Dosimeter (II)-OSL Dosimeter, Glass Dosimeter-
The current study was performed to investigate the influence of high temperature on the value of radiation dose measured by optically stimulated liminescence (OSL) dosimeter or radio photo luminescence (RPL) dosimeter (glass dosimeter) . Serial measurements of temperature in the car confirmed that it can rise to 80°C or higher in the area irradiated ...

Occupational radiation exposure in anesthesia for hepatic chemoembolization: a prospective study
Introduction: Anesthetists play an important role during interventional radiology procedures. Like the main operator, anesthetists may also be subject to significant radiation levels in the fluoroscopy suite.

Plant canopy shape and the influences on UV exposures to the canopy [PDF]
The solar spectra at selected sites over hemispherical, conical and pinnacle plant canopy models has been evaluated with a dosimetric technique. The irradiance at the sites varies by up to a factor of 0.31 compared to the irradiance on a horizontal plane.

Tb3+‐Doped Glass‐Ceramic Scintillating Plates and Fibers for X‐Ray Imaging and Flexible Detection
A Tb3+‐doped glass‐ceramic scintillator, with controlled Ba2GdF7 nanocrystal precipitation, was developed through a rational design strategy guided by phase diagrams and molecular dynamics simulations. The obtained material exhibits a high light yield of 41 800 photons/MeV (418%/BGO), a spatial resolution of 25.3 lp/mm, and exceptional thermal ...

A simple electrometer for measuring small photoelectric currents [PDF]
Quartz-fiber direct-indicating pocket dosimeter is a small-current integrating electrometer. By attaching the photocathode to the quartz fiber terminal and the photoelectron collector to the barrel of the dosimeter and by charging the device to 150 V, a ...
