The reproductive strategy of Dosinia ponderosa at a site of the eastern coast of the Gulf of California, Puerto Libertad, Sonora is reported. Samples of visceral mass were taken from 30 clams that were collected monthly from March 2015 to March 2016, and the length and weight of the tissue without shell of each organism were recorded.

Growth of Dosinia exoleta (L.) (Bivalvia) in Raunefjorden, western Norway
Sarsia, 1983Marked and measured specimens of Dosinia exoleta were set out on an undisturbed sandy, shallow (2.3 m) bottom in the Eggholmane area near Bergen. These specimens were recollected three times at regular intervals during one year, and the increase in length and total weight was noted for each period.
