Redined families of Dothideomycetes: orders and families incertain in Dothideomycetes

2020
Numerous new taxa and classifications of Dothideomycetes have been published following the last monograph of families of Dothideomycetes in 2013. A recent publication by Honsanan et al. in 2020 expanded information of families in Dothideo- mycetidae and Pleosporomycetidae with modern classifications. In this paper, we provide a refined updated document

Metabolites from the endophytic mitosporic Dothideomycete sp. LRUB20

Phytochemistry, 2009
The endophytic mitosporic Dothideomycete sp. LRUB20 was found to produce pyrone derivatives, dothideopyrones A-D (1, 3, 4, and 5), together with seven known compounds, including questin (9), asterric acid (10), methyl asterrate (11), sulochrin (12), and eugenitin (13), 6-hydroxymethyleugenitin (14), and cis, trans-muconic acid (15). Dothideopyrone D (5)

Towards a natural classification of Dothideomycetes 3: The genera Muellerites, Trematosphaeriopsis, Vizellopsis and Yoshinagella (Dothideomycetes incertae sedis)

Phytotaxa, 2014
We re-examine the generic types of genera with unclear placement in Dothideomycetes. These genera were hitherto poorly illustrated or described. Following examination their appropriate familial or ordinal level placements based on modern morphology concepts may be better understood. The generic types of Muellerites, Trematosphaeriopsis, Vizellopsis and

Towards a natural classification of Dothideomycetes: The genera Dermatodothella, Dothideopsella, Grandigallia, Hysteropeltella and Gloeodiscus (Dothideomycetes incertae sedis)

Phytotaxa, 2013
One-hundred and sixteen genera are listed as incertae sedis in the class Dothideomycetes. This is a first of a series of papers in which we re-examine the herbarium types of these genera, which are generally poorly known. By examining the generic types we can suggest higher level placements, but more importantly we illustrate the taxa so that they are ...

Shiraiaceae, new family of Pleosporales (Dothideomycetes, Ascomycota)

Phytotaxa, 2013
Shiraia bambusicola is an economically important medicinal fungus on bamboo. In this paper we re-describe the holotype and designate an epitype based on fresh specimens collected from Zhejiang Province in China. Morphological characters agree with those of the holotype and phylogenies based on combined partial LSU-rDNA, EF and RPB gene sequence data ...
