Generalized theory of thermoelastic diffusion with double porosity
The present paper focuses on the derivation of the constitutive relations and field equations for anisotropic thermoelastic medium with mass diffusion and double porosity. The variational principle, uniqueness and reciprocity theorems are also derived.

In the present article, we have used the three-phase-lag model of thermoelasticity to formulate a two dimensional problem of non homogeneous, isotropic, double porous media with a gravitational field impact. Thermal shock of constant intensity is applied

Macroscopic modeling of double-porosity reservoirs [PDF]
Abstract This paper deals with the seepage of a fluid through a fractured porous medium. It summarizes important results obtained using the homogenization method for periodic structures. Thereby, unlike the phenomenological approaches, the macroscopic behaviors are deduced from the physics at the microscopic scales, without any prerequisite.

Considerations on double porosity structure for micropolar bodies
In this study we want to extend the results of B. Straughan, which quite recently addressed the issue of double porosity structure for classical elastic bodies. In this case, the double porosity structure of the body is not influenced by the displacement

Homogenized modeling for vascularized poroelastic materials [PDF]
A new mathematical model for the macroscopic behavior of a material composed of a poroelastic solid embedding a Newtonian fluid network phase (also referred to as vascularized poroelastic material), with fluid transport between them, is derived via ...

Discrete double-porosity models
We study a discrete-to-continuous Gamma-limit of a family of high-contrast double porosity type functionals defined on a scaled integer lattice. Under periodicity and p-growth conditions we prove the homogenization result and describe the structure of the limit functional. Also, we study the convergence of the corresponding gradient flow.

Effects of pressure and fluid properties on P-wave velocity and attenuation of tight sandstones
Tight reservoirs are distributed in several basins in China, with great exploration prospects and high production potential. These reservoirs have low porosity and permeability and a significant spatial heterogeneity, and this complexity requires new ...
