Double-Walled Carbon Nanotubes in Composite Powders
Double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWNTs) may be interesting in many applications since the outer wall would provide an interface with the rest of the system, without modifying the inner wall. CNT-Fe/Fe3C-Al2O3 composite powders containing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) (65% of which are DWNTs) are prepared by reduction of an oxide solid solution in a H2-CH4 gas

Electrical conductivity and Raman imaging of double wall carbon nanotubes in a polymer matrix [PDF]
Raman spectroscopy is used to access the dispersion state of DWNTs in a PEEK polymer matrix. The interaction of the outer tube with the matrix can be determined from the line shape of the Raman G band.

Evolution of dispersion of carbon nanotubes in Polyamide 11 matrix composites as determined by DC conductivity [PDF]
Double-walled Carbon NanoTubes (DWCNTs) have been dispersed in a Polyamide 11 (PA11) matrix by two routes: in the solvent way, Polyamide 11 was first dissolved in its solvent to ensure a liquid state dispersion of carbon nanotubes by ultrasonic way; in ...

Nonlinear Vibrations of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes under Various Boundary Conditions
The present work deals with applying the homotopy perturbation method to the problem of the nonlinear oscillations of multiwalled carbon nanotubes embedded in an elastic medium under various boundary conditions. A multiple-beam model is utilized in which
