Double percolation effects and fractal behavior in magnetic/superconducting hybrids [PDF]
Perpendicular magnetic anisotropy ferromagnetic/ superconducting (FM/SC) bilayers with a labyrinth domain structure are used to study nucleation of superconductivity on a fractal network, tunable through magnetic history.

ABSTRACT Secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) is a common complication in patients receiving maintenance dialysis, driven by calcium and phosphate metabolism disturbances. Calcimimetics are central to the management of SHPT by enhancing calcium‐sensing receptor sensitivity and reducing parathyroid hormone secretion.

Chromosome-level genome assemblies of two maize inbred lines with contrasting plant architectures
Maize is a critical staple crop globally. Enhancing maize yield per unit area is essential to meet the rising food demand, and increasing planting density has emerged as a key strategy to achieve this goal.

Double Recurrent Dense Network for Single Image Deraining
Rain streaks can affect visual visibility, and hence disable many visual algorithms. So we present a double recurrent dense network for removing rain streaks from single image.

Double Shuffle Relations of Double Zeta Values and Double Eisenstein Series of Level N
In their seminal paper "Double zeta values and modular forms" Gangl, Kaneko and Zagier defined a double Eisenstein series and used it to study the relations between double zeta values.

ABSTRACT Introduction Adult‐onset Still's disease (AOSD) complicated by macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) carries substantial mortality. The role of therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) remains uncertain. Methods We retrospectively analyzed patients with AOSD‐MAS treated with TPE at a single‐center.

Solar prominences: 'double, double ... boil and bubble'
Observations revealed rich dynamics within prominences, the cool 10,000 K, macroscopic (sizes of order 100 Mm) "clouds" in the million degree solar corona. Even quiescent prominences are continuously perturbed by hot, rising bubbles.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
