Functional Hydrogel for Modulating Lipid Droplets and Neuroinflammation in Head Injury
After TBI, elevated cholesterol levels in activated microglia lead to the accumulation of cholesterol esters in lipid droplets, exacerbating neuroinflammation. A β‐cyclodextrin‐conjugated GelMA (βCD‐GelMA) hydrogel is developed to promotes cholesterol efflux and reduces LDL influx, thereby alleviating intracellular cholesterol and lipid droplet buildup.

Experimenter bias across gender differences [PDF]
This paper reports on a laboratory study that examined the influence of experimenter bias in the investment game. Specifically we explored the effect of changing the gender of the experimenter and compared it with the double blind treatment. Our findings

Charge carrier concentration and mobility in TiO2, ZrO2, and HfO2 powder films are experimentally mapped as a function of temperature. The results uncover polaron‐mediated transport regimes and field‐activated conduction, enabling the design of oxide‐based electronic and energy devices with thermally tunable functionality.

Double-Blind but More Transparent [PDF]
Journal of Peace Research has now introduced `double-blind' or `masked' review procedures. In other words, the author's name and affiliation are removed from the manuscript. This article explains why we make this change now, why we did not make it before, and why the decision was not obvious. The main argument in favor of blinding is that the reviewer
