Suboptimal Model Predictive Control With a Computation Governor: Stability, Recursive Feasibility, and Applications to Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers

open access: yesOptimal Control Applications and Methods, EarlyView.
Computational governor is shown which simultaneously adjusts the reference and adjusts the constraints. ABSTRACT The paper considers a computational governor strategy to facilitate the implementation of Model Predictive Control (MPC) based on inexact optimization when the time available to compute the solution may be insufficient.

Comfort in the canopy: How urban treescapes affect human thermal comfort in a temperate climate

open access: yesPeople and Nature, EarlyView.
Abstract People living in urban centres are exposed to higher levels of heat stress than those living outside of these areas; this is intensified by the urban heat island effect. Heat stress is a concern for the more vulnerable members of society and can exacerbate many medical conditions; excessive heat increases morbidity and mortality rates.

Being wronged and being right: Meaningful Indigenous‐Māori discourses for enhancing environmental restoration

open access: yesPeople and Nature, EarlyView.
Abstract Indigenous participation in environmental management is essential for achieving just and effective ecological outcomes. This study investigates the positive discourses that support the integration of Te Ao Māori (the Māori world view) in environmental restoration practice in Aotearoa New Zealand. We introduce Kaupapa Māori Discourse Analysis—a

Artificial Intelligence as an Add‐On Instrument in Fetal Ultrasound; Sonographers' and Obstetricians' Expectations

open access: yesPrenatal Diagnosis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Artificial intelligence applications (AIA) in fetal ultrasound are rapidly evolving, yet their integration into routine clinical practice remains limited. This study explores the attitudes, expectations and concerns of obstetric sonographers and gynecologists regarding AIA as a diagnostic aid during fetal anomaly scans.

Conjugated Polymers Engineered for Flexible/Stretchable Electronics

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
This review highlights glass transition temperature (Tg) as the central parameter linking molecular structure to device performance in conjugated polymers. By tuning backbone rigidity, side‐chain architecture, and dynamic bonding, Tg governs the balance between π–π stacking–enabled charge transport and mechanical compliance.
