Counterion Effects in Decatungstate Photocatalysis
Decatungstate photocatalysis is often discussed from an anion‐centered perspective, treating the counterion as a passive charge‐balancing species. This review highlights that counterion identity can instead profoundly influence catalyst solubility, ion pairing, aggregation, stability, substrate accessibility, and catalytic performance.
