Advanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.In this study, we fabricate photovoltaic retinal implants with pyrolytic carbon electrodes and test their ability to stimulate mouse and pig retinas when illuminated with near‐infrared light. We find increased spiking activity in both animal models compared to spontaneous activity and TTX controls and analyze the spike amplitude, latency and frequency.

Advanced Materials, EarlyView.This work investigates the heterogeneous nucleation of CsPbBr3${\rm CsPbBr}_3$ nanocrystal superlattices along the faces of 2D PEA2PbBr4${\rm PEA}_2{\rm PbBr}_4$ layered perovskite microcrystals. Core–crown and core–shell heterostructure morphologies are obtained.

Light‐Enhanced Chloride Transport by Thiourea‐Appended Molecular Motor
Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.A molecular motor functionalized with a thiourea anion‐binding motif mediates transmembrane chloride transport. Light irradiation enhances transport efficiency by populating a more active metastable isomer, which slowly equilibrates to the initial stable isomer.
