ERRATUM: Revisiting Duffy's model for Sb3+ and Bi3+ in double halide perovskites: Emergence of a descriptor for machine learning

open access: yesOptical Materials: X, 2021
The Duffy's model is reformulated for Sb 3+ and Bi 3+ in cubic chloro- and bromoelpasolites with « 0D » perovskite structure. The new equation allows calculating the energy of the first s 2 → s 1 p 1 electron transition from crystal structure data.

Ultrastable Photoactive Halide Perovskite Nanocrystal‐Sensitized SnO2 Nanorods for Room‐Temperature NO2 Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Metal oxide (MOx)‐based NO2 gas sensors typically require high temperatures or ultraviolet light, limiting their practical use. To enable visible‐light activation at room temperature, efficient and stable photosensitizers should be integrated with nanostructured MOx hosts.

Enhanced photocatalytic activity and mechanism insight of copper-modulated lead-free Cs2AgSbCl6 double perovskite microcrystals

open access: yesiScience, 2023
Summary: Lead halide perovskites are prospective candidates for CO2 photoconversion. Herein, we report copper-doped lead-free Cs2AgSbCl6 double perovskite microcrystals (MCs) for gas-solid phase photocatalytic CO2 reduction.

Chemical and Structural Diversity of Hybrid Layered Double Perovskite Halides [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the American Chemical Society, 2019
Hybrid halide double perovskites are a class of compounds attracting growing interest because of their richness of structure and property. Two-dimensional (2D) derivatives of hybrid double perovskites are formed by the incorporation of organic spacer cations into three-dimensional (3D) double perovskites.

Lead‐Free Halide Double Perovskites: Structure, Luminescence, and Applications [PDF]

open access: yesSmall Structures, 2020
Organic–inorganic halide perovskites have attracted extensive attention due to their excellent optoelectronic properties. However, the toxicity of heavy atom Pb2+ and instability overshadow further commercial applications, motivating researchers to explore alternative analogues to overcome these disadvantages. Lead‐free halide double perovskites (HDPs),

Trap‐Assisted Transport and Neuromorphic Plasticity in Lead‐Free 2D Perovskites PEA2SnI4

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An artificial retina built from lead‐free layered perovskite (PEA)2SnI4 converts light input into a persistent photocurrent and sums successive flashes over time. Micro/nanocrystals integrated on electrodes act as synapse‐like pixels that perform temporal integration directly in hardware. This in‐sensor preprocessing merges detection and computation on
