Anesthetic management of caesarean section in a patient with double outlet right ventricle
Double outlet right ventricle (DORV) is a rare congenital heart defect involving the great arteries. In DORV, both aorta and pulmonary artery arise from the right ventricle resulting in admixture of blood. We report a 22-year-old parturient with DORV and

Double Outlet Ventricle: Echocardiographic Evaluation
Double outlet ventricle is a type of conoventricular anomaly. The great arteries arise predominantly (more than 50%) from one of the ventricle. The aortomitral discontinuity varies from minimum discontinuity to complete bilateral conal tissue. Both right

Double outlet right ventricle [PDF]
We appreciate the comments of Mr Velissaris on our paper about hemodynamic changes during off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) surgery. We agree on the fact that thermodilution cardiac output catheters (TCOC) are suboptimal means to look at homodynamic changes. Assessing hemodynamics during off-pump surgery is not an easy task.

Parturient with double outlet right ventricle without pulmonary stenosis: Perioperative management
Double outlet right ventricle (DORV) is a rare cardiac condition in which the heart demonstrates single ventricle physiology. The management of these patients depends upon the presence or absence of pulmonary stenosis.
