Effective three-band model for double perovskites [PDF]
We start from a six-band model describing the transition-metal t2g orbitals of half-metallic double perovskite systems, such as Sr2FeMoO6, in which only one of the transition metal ions (Fe) contains important intratomic repulsion Ufe. By eliminating the

Lead-free perovskite and double perovskite solar cells
Abstract The toxicity and instability of lead-halide perovskite materials in the solar cells are yet demands must be resolved to vie to find alternatives of free lead-based halide perovskites and double perovskite materials. Here we report on the experimental synthesis of a new family of lead-free inorganic halide double perovskites ...

Double Double Cation Order in the High‐Pressure Perovskites MnRMnSbO6 [PDF]
AbstractCation ordering in ABO3 perovskites adds to their chemical variety and can lead to properties such as ferrimagnetism and magnetoresistance in Sr2FeMoO6. Through high‐pressure and high‐temperature synthesis, a new type of “double double perovskite” structure has been discovered in the family MnRMnSbO6 (R=La, Pr, Nd, Sm).

Double perovskite Nd2FeTiO6 ceramics: Structural and electrical properties [PDF]
Because of their high stability, innocuous behaviour, outstanding electric properties and multi-functionality, lead-free double perovskites have emerged as a promising alternative to lead-based perovskites. We present here the structural, microstructural,

Thermochromic Lead‐Free Halide Double Perovskites
AbstractLead‐free halide double perovskites with diverse electronic structures and optical responses, as well as superior material stability show great promise for a range of optoelectronic applications. However, their large bandgaps limit their applications in the visible light range such as solar cells.
