Chemical tuning of a double double perovskite oxide [PDF]
Chemical tuning has been demonstrated for the first time in a double double perovskite. Ordering over five cation sites is preserved in LaxCa1−xMnMnReO6 ferrimagnets up to x ≥ 0.5 while La3+/Ca2+ substitution tunes magnetic properties.

Lead-free perovskite solar cells, what's next?
Although lead halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have achieved an efficiency of 25.7 %, the highly toxic composition, element lead, will hinder the use of PSCs in indoor photovoltaics, building-integrated photovoltaics and wearable devices.

Griffiths phase-like behaviour and spin-phonon coupling in double perovskite Tb$_{2}$NiMnO$_{6}$ [PDF]
The Griffiths phase-like features and the spin-phonon coupling effects observed in Tb$_2$NiMnO$_6$ are reported. The double perovskite compound crystallizes in monoclinic $P2_1/n$ space group and exhibits a magnetic phase transition at $T_c \sim$ 111 K ...

Lead-free perovskite and double perovskite solar cells
Abstract The toxicity and instability of lead-halide perovskite materials in the solar cells are yet demands must be resolved to vie to find alternatives of free lead-based halide perovskites and double perovskite materials. Here we report on the experimental synthesis of a new family of lead-free inorganic halide double perovskites ...

Effective three-band model for double perovskites [PDF]
We start from a six-band model describing the transition-metal t2g orbitals of half-metallic double perovskite systems, such as Sr2FeMoO6, in which only one of the transition metal ions (Fe) contains important intratomic repulsion Ufe. By eliminating the

Electronic structure of Fe and magnetism in the $3d/5d$ double perovskites Ca$_2$FeReO$_6$ and Ba$_2$FeReO$_6$ [PDF]
The Fe electronic structure and magnetism in (i) monoclinic Ca$_2$FeReO$_6$ with a metal-insulator transition at $T_{MI} \sim 140$ K and (ii) quasi-cubic half-metallic Ba$_2$FeReO$_6$ ceramic double perovskites are probed by soft x-ray absorption ...

Double perovskite Nd2FeTiO6 ceramics: Structural and electrical properties [PDF]
Because of their high stability, innocuous behaviour, outstanding electric properties and multi-functionality, lead-free double perovskites have emerged as a promising alternative to lead-based perovskites. We present here the structural, microstructural,
