Uniformly summable double sequences

Studia Scientiarum Mathematicarum Hungarica, 2007
In 1945 Brudno presented the following important theorem: If A and B are regular summability matrix methods such that every bounded sequence summed by A is also summed by B , then it is summed by B to the same value. In 1960 Petersen extended Brudno’s theorem by using uniformly summable methods.

Sequencing of Double-Stranded PCR Products

Molecular Biotechnology, 1996
Very often the experimental step following PCR is sequencing of the amplified fragment. Two protocols that allow direct sequencing of a double-stranded PCR product are described. The first involves removal of one strand of the PCR product using an M13 single-stranded DNA clone, allowing the second strand to be sequenced.

On Abel Convergence of Double Sequences

Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization, 2010
In terms of Berezin symbols, we give the concept of (Ber)-convergence of bounded double sequences. We prove that every (Ber)-convergent double sequence is Abel convergent. In particular, by using the Berezin symbols technique, we prove the following double sequence analog of the classical Abel theorem for the sequences: If the sequence regularly ...

The Hausdorff Means for Double Sequences

Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1967
The basic theory of the Hausdorff means for double sequences was developed some thirty - three years ago by C.R. Adams [1], and independently by F. Hallenbach [3], Yet today, many of the properties of these means remain largely uninvestigated. The calculations here, although clearly more complex, for the most part break down into obvious modifications ...

Invariant Core Theorems for Double Sequences

Southeast Asian Bulletin of Mathematics, 2000
In [\textit{R. F. Patterson}, Int. J. Math. Math. Soc. 22, 785-793 (1999; Zbl 0949.40007)] the author introduced the notion of the core of a double sequence. In the present paper he proves an invariant core theorem for double sequences.

Double‐Stranded DNA Sequence Analysis

Current Protocols in Immunology, 1995
AbstractThere are several different methods for analyzing the sequence of cloned DNA segments. For analysis of immunoglobulin variable (V) regions, double‐stranded DNA sequencing is routinely used. Although this method does not yield the longest DNA sequences, it is easy and provides sufficient information to determine the correct sequence.
