Thermal Performance of Double Slope Collectors with Different Angles

International Journal of Heat and Technology, 2022
The air solar collectors are one of the necessary equipment for heating by increase the induced air temperatures. The thermal analysis of the solar air collector for the three different absorbers, flat and double slope (15, 30) degrees was studied numerically by employing a FORTRAN 90 program.

Modeling and Simulation of Double Slope Solar Still

Invertis Journal of Renewable Energy, 2016
Single slope solar still can be used for converting salty water into useful water but this technology has many limitations for practical use; therefore using a double slope solar still is more effective. Double slope solar still consumes the radiation of sun at both the sides.

The formation of layers in a double-diffusive system with a sloping boundary

Journal of Fluid Mechanics, 1977
The flows induced by the presence of an insulating sloping boundary in a doublediffusive system are examined. In the diffusive case, when the component with the larger diffusivity is unstably distributed, it is known that under certain circumstances horizontal motions are induced near the slope, and that a series of horizontal layers forms.

Modeling thermal asymmetries in double slope solar stills

Renewable Energy, 2004
Abstract Solar distillation literature reports a generalized use of stills with single and double slope condensing covers, where modeling equations describe a solution approach that considers the condenser as a single element. The solution for a double slope still analysis is generally forced to the case of one with a single flat condensing cover ...

A Double Single Slope Multiplier cum Divider

IETE Journal of Education, 2000
A novel type of analog multiplier cum divider is described. The constant of multiplication is dependent upon a set of resistor and capacitor values. Verification of the feasibility of the circuit configuration is established by way of test results on a proto type.

Thermal Modeling and Analysis of Double-Slope Solar Still

2020
Freshwater is an important prerequisite for sustenance of human being as well as the quality of life. It is required for human settlement, industry, agriculture, forest, recreation, etc. It is very precious and limited, needs to be treated with utmost care.

The double dual-slope multiplier: Elimination of offset

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 1981
The double dual-slope multiplier is a multiplying analog-to-digital converter based on the dual-slope integrating converter. The ratio of the product of two unknown voltages to the square of a reference voltage is obtained in terms of the ratio of a measured time interval to a known time interval.

Minimum slope model predictive control with double margins

2016 7th Power Electronics and Drive Systems Technologies Conference (PEDSTC), 2016
In Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control, FCS-MPC, with single step prediction horizon; absolute value of control variable errors corresponding to each of input sets are precalculated and the input sets which satisfies an objective function are selected to be applied in the next sampling time.

Double Reduction Factors Approach to the Stability of Side Slope

2010
Using traditional single and double reductions about strength (i.e. initial friction angle and cohesive force), the safety factors 1.374 and 1.370 are derived, respectively. The results mean that the double reduction is more reasonable and the traditional single reduction method excessively evaluates the stability of the side slope.

Observation and tentative interpretation of a double BSR on the Nankai slope

Marine Geology, 2002
Seismic data collected during the French–Japanese KAIKO-Tokai cruise of R/V L’Atalante on the upper slope of the eastern Nankai margin reveal the simultaneous presence at two distinct depths below the seafloor of two bottom simulating reflector (BSR)-type reflectors. The upper BSR is traced as a continuous reflector over about 10 km.
