Impact of the surface roughness on the electrical capacitance [PDF]
A new hybrid approach consists to use the advantages of both systems namely the high geometric aspects of the electrodes of the ultracapacitor and the high dielectric strength of polymer materials used in dielectric capacitors.

Unilateral double teeth in primary dentition
Odontogenic anomalies can occur as a result of conjoining or twinning defects. The phenomenon of tooth fusion arises through the union of two normally separated tooth germs and depending upon the stage of development of the teeth at the time of union, it may be either complete or incomplete.

An Implanted Tooth That Can Feel
To endow the implanted tooth with masticatory perception, herein we demonstrate that a 3D‐printed piezoelectric‐core/robust‐sheath implanted tooth can rebuild the sensing feedback, serving as “mechanoreceptors” in converting the mechanical chewing force to electrical signals, and up to brain through surrounding alveolar nerve system.

Active Metamaterials with Tunable Shear Nonreciprocity and Nonlinear Dynamics
Active gear‐based mechanical metamaterials enable simultaneous control of translational and torsional stiffnesses by 30–100×, break shear reciprocity under positive versus negative loads, broadly tune resonant frequencies, and offer programmable dynamic responses.

Synchrotron radiation reveals the identity of the large felid from Monte Argentario (Early Pleistocene, Italy) [PDF]
We describe here a partial skull with associated mandible of a large felid from Monte Argentario, Italy (Early Pleistocene; ~1.5 million years). Propagation x-ray phase-contrast synchrotron microtomography of the specimen, still partially embedded in the
