Efficient all-optical wavelength conversion scheme based on a saw-tooth pulse shaper [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We experimentally demonstrate the use of saw-tooth optical pulses, generated using a superstructured fiber Bragg grating, to achieve high performance and efficient all-optical wavelength conversion in a scheme based on cross-phase modulation in a highly ...

Innate Immunocompetent hiPSC‐Derived Neurospheroids Capture Early CNS Responses to rAAV

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Knowledge of human CNS immune responses to AAV‐based gene therapies remains limited due to the lack of immune‐competent human models. Here, a hiPSC‐derived 3D neuroimmune platform integrating neurospheroids and microglia is established using stirred‐tank bioreactors.

Design and Finite Element Analysis of Flexspline for Different Tooth Profile Harmonic Drive

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2018
The tooth profile curve of double-arc common-tangent tooth profile harmonic reducer is established and the conjugate tooth profile fitting analysis for double-arc common-tangent tooth profile designed by enveloping theory is carried out.

Torsional Stiffness Calculation of Double-Enveloping Cycloid Drive

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing, 2012
On a gear tooth surface, there may be some certain points which contact twice with its mating gear tooth surface. This phenomenon is called secondary action.

Double Tooth

open access: yesCollegium antropologicum, 2003
The form of primary and permanent teeth can differ morphologically from that which is considered normal, completely or in some parts. The changes in tooth form can be hereditary or caused by some disease or trauma. Fusion is a union of one or more teeth during development.

WDR72 Promotes Neuroblastoma Stemness and Progression by Sequestering TRIM31‐Mediated Degradation of CBX8

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study unveiled that METTL14 mediates m6A modification of WDR72 mRNA to stabilize and enhance WDR72 expression, which disrupts TRIM31‐mediated ubiquitination of CBX8 protein and retards its degradation, finally the elevated CBX8 contributes to tumor stemness.

Targeting the KCNC3‐Dependent Anterior Insular‐Lateral Orbitofrontal Cortex Glutamatergic Circuit Attenuates Post‐Traumatic Anxiety

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Frontal lobe traumatic brain injury is associated with hyperactivity of an insular–orbitofrontal circuit in both patients and mice. By combination of integrating functional imaging, cell‐type–specific circuit manipulation, single‐cell transcriptomics, and whole‐cell recordings, this work identifies the downregulation of the potassium channel KCNC3 in ...

ATL2 Recruits TRAK1 to Promote Mitochondrial Transport at ER–Mitochondria Contact Sites

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mitochondrial transport and distribution are crucial for cellular homeostasis, yet whether and how they are regulated by endoplasmic reticulum (ER)–mitochondria contact sites remains unclear. Here, we demonstrate that the ER protein atlastin‐2 (ATL2) orchestrates mitochondrial transport and distribution by promoting assembly of the transport ...
