Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

With the proposal of carbon peaking and carbon neutralization, the penetration rate of wind power generation continues to increase. This paper focuses on the problem that doubly fed induction wind turbines are vulnerable to input “source” disturbances ...

Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Simplified method of doubly fed induction generator
At present, doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) occupies the market of wind turbine due to its controllable rotor AC current, decoupled active and reactive power, and small converter capacity. However, the detailed model with power electronic switch components is complicated and computationally expensive for the simulation which restricts the scale ...

This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

Investigation on the Modeling of Doubly-Fed Induction Generators for Wind Turbine
Over recent decades, especially in the transmission network, the share of electricity produced by wind sources has significantly increased. In order to enhance the efficiency of the power system, it is crucial to have precise and comprehensive ...

Analysis of Shaft Voltage in a Doubly-fed Induction Generator
Fast switching transients and common mode voltage generated by pulse width modulated voltage in high frequency applications may cause many unwanted problems such as shaft voltage and resultant bearing currents. The main objective of this research work is to analyse shaft voltage generation in a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) with a back to back ...

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for
