Connected cototal domination number of a graph [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A dominating set $D subseteq V$ of a graph $G = (V,E)$ is said to be a connected cototal dominating set if $langle D rangle$ is connected and $langle V-D rangle neq phi$, contains no isolated vertices.

Recyclable Lignin‐Based Thermadapt Shape Memory Polymers With Near‐Infrared Light Response

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Covalent adaptable networks (CANs) have been designed to address the recycling challenges associated with thermosets, while preserving their mechanical properties. However, producing biobased CANs with intelligent response capabilities remains challenging.

On the number of edges in graphs with a given connected domination number

open access: yes, 2000
A dominating set for a graph G=(V,E) is a subset of vertices V′⊆V such that for all v∈V−V′ there exists some u∈V′ adjacent to v. The domination number of G, denoted by γ(G), is the size of its smallest dominating set(s). When G is connected, we say V′ is

Microfluidic Nano‐Assembly of Red‐Blood‐Cell (RBC) Lipids and Components for Engineering Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Engineered red blood cell‐derived extracellular vesicles (eRBCEVs) are synthesized via controlled microfluidic assembly from native RBC lipids, enabling tunable encapsulation of proteins, nucleic acids, nanoparticles, and viral vectors. The platform demonstrates reproducible nanoscale architecture, preserved membrane composition, and functional cargo ...

Extremal connected graphs for independent domination number

open access: yes, 2004
A general characterization of connected graphs on n vertices having the maximum possible independent domination number of ⌊n+2−2n⌋ is given. This result leads to a structural characterization of such graphs in all but a small finite number of cases.

Protein‐Polymer Dynamic Hydrogels Utilizing Native Ligand Binding for Injectable Therapeutic Delivery and 3D Printing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Dynamic nanocolloidal hydrogels were synthesized via the co‐assembly of ligand‐modified spheroidal hyperbranched poly(glycerol) (HPG) and soluble albumin nanoparticles (SANs). Co‐assembly occurred through self‐association of the HPG, as well as its interaction with SANs via native ligand binding.

Anti‐Inflammatory and Neuroactive Effects of Polymer‐Coated Iron Oxide Nanoparticles Functionalized With Interleukin 4 for Spinal Cord Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer‐coated IONPs functionalized with IL‐4 display respective neuroactive and anti‐inflammatory actions on neural progenitor cells and macrophages/microglia in vitro. When examined chronically in a rat experimental model of spinal cord injury, rGO scaffolds carrying these nanosystems adequately integrate into the lesion, significantly reduce ...
