A novel linear controller for grid connected doubly fed induction generator (DFIG)
2012 International Conference on Advances in Power Conversion and Energy Technologies (APCET), 2012The advent of rising electrical energy consumption gave rise to a steady increase in the demand on power generation. So, in addition to conventional power generation units a number of renewable energy units are increasingly being integrated into the system.

Solid State Transformer (SST) interfaced Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) wind turbine
2017 Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE), 2017the today energy crisis and the troubles related to the environment have resulted in a rapid development of renewable energy such as wind and solar energy. Integrating renewable energy into power grid and delivering the energy to the consumers efficiently is an excellent option for distributed energy production.

Decoupled active and reactive power control of a Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG)
2007 Mediterranean Conference on Control & Automation, 2007In this paper a decoupled control of a doubly-fed induction machine used in generation mode (DFIG) is presented. It provides decoupled regulation of the primary side active and reactive power and it is suitable for both electric energy generation and drive applications. The mathematical model of the machine written in an appropriate d-q reference frame

A Sensorless Adaptive Grid Side Control Approach for Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG)
2019 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting, 2019In this paper, a system identification based adaptive controller is proposed for a grid-connected doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). Recursive least squares (RLS) estimation based system identification provides the auto-regressive moving average exogenous (ARMAX) model of the system.

Doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) as a hybrid of asynchronous and synchronous machines
Electric Power Systems Research, 2005With increasing concern over greenhouse gas (GHG) emission, more and more wind turbines are connected to electric power systems. Since many of these new wind farms employ doubly-fed induction generators (DFIG), power engineers find it is necessary to understand the characteristics of the DFIG better.

A reverse current tracking based LVRT strategy for doubly fed induction generator (DFIG)
IECON 2013 - 39th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2013This paper proposed an improved control strategy for doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) to enhance its low voltage ride-through (LVRT) capability. Under serious grid faults, the rotor side induced electromotive force (EMF) would exceed the maximum output voltage of the rotor side converter (RSC), leading to over-currents and runaway of DFIG and RSC.

Doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) in wind turbine. modeling and power flow control
2004 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology, 2004. IEEE ICIT '04., 2005In this work, the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) for wind energy conversion system is studied. First, the dq model of the wound rotor induction machine in rotor reference frame and then how it can be implemented in simulink for fast simulations.

Power Flow Modeling to Doubly-Fed Induction Generators (DFIGs) Under Power Regulation
IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 2013With the constant kopt model under the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) strategy, wind power fluctuation from the doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs) increases the operational risk. With given wind speed, the constant kopt model with variable slip yields impractical power output.
