Non‐Rigid 3D Shape Correspondences: From Foundations to Open Challenges and Opportunities

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Estimating correspondences between deformed shape instances is a long‐standing problem in computer graphics; numerous applications, from texture transfer to statistical modelling, rely on recovering an accurate correspondence map. Many methods have thus been proposed to tackle this challenging problem from varying perspectives, depending on ...

Defining ecologically realistic biodiversity offset multipliers with the response‐based habitat hectare assessment of biodiversity gains (REHAB)

open access: yesConservation Science and Practice, EarlyView.
Biodiversity offsetting should be based on adequately large multipliers to deliver no net loss or a net gain for biodiversity, yet the multipliers are often applied without quantitative assessment of the ecological outcomes of offset actions. Here, we show how ecologically realistic offset multipliers were defined based on ecological response estimates

Idiosyncratic asset return and wage risk of US households

open access: yesEconomic Inquiry, Volume 63, Issue 2, Page 636-657, April 2025.
Abstract This paper documents the degree of idiosyncratic asset return heterogeneity, serial correlation, and correlation with wage heterogeneity for US households. Novel panel‐data measurements for returns on household assets are proposed. Sizable transitory idiosyncratic return heterogeneity is documented to exist concurrently with permanent ...

Ultrafast python‐integrated single‐entity electrochemical sensor for detecting glycated albumin

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Traditional biosensors suffer from the fact that recognition receptors are immobilised and that they denature on electrodes. Instead here we use receptors freely in solution, minimising surface compression and preserving activity to boost signal efficiency. Python‐driven processing turns the electrochemical response into a rapid, robust readout.

Residual Income Valuation and Stock Returns: Evidence From a Value‐to‐Price Investment Strategy*

open access: yesFinancial Review, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper contributes to the accounting and asset pricing anomalies literature by investigating the performance of value‐to‐price (V/P) strategies, and the relationship between V/P ratio and various risk proxies. If the V/P ratio successfully predicts future returns at stock level, we hypothesize that portfolios based on the V/P ratio ...
