Star-Convexity of the Eigenvalue Regions for Stochastic Matrices and Certain Subclasses
Star-convexity of the eigenvalue region for the set of n×n stochastic matrices has already been proven, for n≥2, by Dmitriev and Dynkin. The star-convexity property enables full determination of the eigenvalue region by its boundary.

On the Inverse Eigenvalue Problem for Irreducible Doubly Stochastic Matrices of Small Orders
The inverse eigenvalue problem is a classical and difficult problem in matrix theory. In the case of real spectrum, we first present some sufficient conditions of a real r-tuple (for r=2; 3; 4; 5) to be realized by a symmetric stochastic matrix.

Doubly stochastic matrices whose powers eventually stop [PDF]
In this note we characterize doubly stochastic matrices A whose powers A,A2,A3,… eventually stop, i.e., Ap=Ap+1=⋯ for some positive integer p.

The theory and applications of complex matrix scalings
We generalize the theory of positive diagonal scalings of real positive definite matrices to complex diagonal scalings of complex positive definite matrices.

Dynamic mechanical loading of outer meniscus fibrochondrocytes increases extracellular vesicle (EV) yield and alters EV composition. When applied to progenitor cells, these mechanically primed EVs modulate the expression of matrix‐related genes.

Stability Conditions in Multiple-Input Multiple-Output Systems
This paper investigates the stabilization of unstable third-order Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems whose interaction structure is described by a doubly stochastic combined matrix, also known as the Relative Gain Array (RGA).

Optimal Approximation of Doubly Stochastic Matrices
We consider the least-squares approximation of a matrix C in the set of doubly stochastic matrices with the same sparsity pattern as C. Our approach is based on applying the well-known Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM) to a reformulation of the original problem.
