Educating Early Adolescents for a Sustainable Future With Digital Civic Learning: Moral Self‐Concept as a Developmental Catalyst Linking Civic Competencies and Civic Purpose

open access: yesDevelopmental Science, Volume 29, Issue 4, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Education for sustainable development (ESD) is increasingly recognized as a developmental imperative in a world facing ecological, social, and political challenges. While many approaches to ESD emphasize knowledge and competencies, emerging research suggests that sustainable action in youth requires the integration of cognitive, emotional, and

Jahn–Teller Distortions in Pseudo‐Octahedral Low‐Spin Ni(III) Complexes With O,O or N,N Bidentate Ligands: A DFT Study

open access: yesJournal of Computational Chemistry, Volume 47, Issue 16, 15 June 2026.
DFT analysis of d7 pseudo‐octahedral Ni(III) complexes reveals Jahn–Teller elongation (ΔR ≈ 0.15–0.23 Å) analogous to d9 Cu(II) systems. Elongated structures are minima, while compressed geometries are saddle points with small stabilization energies (ΔEJT ≈ 0.02–0.04 eV).

The cohomogeneity one Einstein equations and Painleve analysis

open access: yes, 2001
We apply techniques of Painlevé-Kowalewski analysis to a Hamiltonian system arising from symmetry reduction of the Ricci-flat Einstein equations. In the case of doubly warped product metrics on a product of two Einstein manifolds over an interval, we ...

Assembly of Cell‐Seeded 3D Printed Hydrogel Modules with Perfusable Channel Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 44, 1 June 2026.
Macroscale assembly was utilized to prepare perfusable tissue constructs from individually 3D printed hydrogel modules with embedded branched channel networks and port arrays for cell seeding. Novel multi‐material bioreactors were fabricated to facilitate the gluing of individual modules and the perfusion culture of assembled modular constructs seeded ...

The anisotropic Calderón problem for singular metrics of warped product type: the borderline between uniqueness and invisibility

open access: yes, 2020
International audienceIn this paper, we investigate the anisotropic Calderón problem on cylindrical Riemannian manifolds with boundary having two ends and equipped with singular metrics of (simple or double) warped product type, that is whose warping ...

New examples of complete Ricci solitons

open access: yes, 1994
The Ricci soliton condition reduces to a set of ODEs when one assumes that the metric is a doubly-warped product of a ray with a sphere and an Einstein manifold.

Progress in Strain Engineering of 2D‐Integrated Heterostructures for Ultrasensitive Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 33, 15 June 2026.
. ABSTRACT Two‐dimensional (2D) integrated heterostructures have emerged as a cornerstone in the advancement of next‐generation sensor technologies. These heterostructures, which combine materials with different dimensionalities, have led to significant breakthroughs in sensing performance and device integration.
