Advances in Solid‐Phase Processing Techniques: Innovations, Applications, and Future Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 11, Issue 9, 6 May 2026.
Based on practical manufacturing challenges, this review examines advanced solid‐phase processing techniques that overcome the inherent limitations of conventional melting‐based and traditional solid‐phase manufacturing, enabling the production of higher‐performance components at reduced cost through process innovation and improved supply‐chain ...

Accelerating PREFUL MRI: Comparison of Registration Methods and Impact of Time Series Reduction

open access: yesNMR in Biomedicine, Volume 39, Issue 5, May 2026.
Retrospective shortening of the PREFUL MRI acquisition showed that most parameters remained strongly correlated (≥ 77%) and regionally concordant (overlap ≥ 79%) with the 55‐s ground truth down to 30 s in healthy volunteers and COPD, except for perfusion, which was more sensitive to truncation.

Denoising framework for X‐ray absorption spectroscopy data

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation, Volume 33, Issue 3, Page 658-682, May 2026.
We introduce a high‐performance Python‐based XAS denoising package called XASDenoise, which implements our newly developed stationarity warping method and advanced denoising techniques based on Gaussian process regression and a convolutional autoencoder.X‐ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) is a powerful tool for probing the structural and electronic ...

Death anxiety predicts fear of progression in people with rheumatic conditions

open access: yesBritish Journal of Health Psychology, Volume 31, Issue 2, May 2026.
Abstract Background Rheumatic diseases often have a progressive course and place individuals at increased risk of mortality. Despite this, little research has investigated the relationship between death anxiety and fears about disease progression (FoP), and how these might relate to health‐related quality of life (HRQoL) outcomes.

Electron microscopy‐based three‐dimensional subcellular imaging of plant male gametophyte

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, Volume 68, Issue 5, Page 1290-1314, May 2026.
The Aquilos2 Cryo‐FIB workflows provide practical routes for cryo‐electron tomography and volume imaging in plant structural biology. ABSTRACT Understanding cellular events in three dimensions (3D) is of great importance for the annotation and illustration of biological processes in a contextual way. Imaging techniques based on electron microscopy (EM),

Doubly Warped Products in Locally Conformal Almost Cosymplectic Manifolds

open access: yesInternational Electronic Journal of Geometry, 2017
Recently, the author established a general inequality for doubly warped products in arbitraryRiemannian manifolds [16]. In the present paper, we obtain similar inequalities for doublywarped products isometrically immersed in locally conformal almost cosymplectic manifolds. Some applications are derived.
