Advanced Science, EarlyView.FfRlpA2, a conserved Fusarium effector, functions as a protease inhibitor by hijacking the E3 ubiquitin ligase IbCHYR1 to degrade the resistance factor IbZnFR, thereby promoting Fusarium pathogenicity. Conversely, the high dosage Pro::IbZnFRHap2 allele was associated with resistance to root rot disease.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.The sedge Eleocharis baldwinii remarkably switches between C3‐like and C4‐like photosynthesis in response to environmental conditions. Combining gap‐free genome assembly with single‐cell multi‐omics, this study uncovers how subgenome dominance and cell‐specific cis‐regulation enable C4 photosynthesis.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.This study identifies α‐Hederin as a potent dual JAK1/JAK2 inhibitor that blocks STAT3 activation in ovarian cancer. By disrupting STAT3‐driven transcriptional programs, α‐Hederin suppresses tumor proliferation, invasion, and EMT, while enhancing cisplatin efficacy and overcoming chemoresistance.
