Downy Mildew-Grapevine Interaction
2020Downy mildew is one of the most destructive diseases affecting viticulture, caused by Plasmopara viticola Berl. and De Toni, an obligate biotrophic oomycete whose life cycle is mostly maintained in any grapevine green tissue. Infection of grapevine begins in spring with dispersed sporangium produced from oospores and lasts until the end of summer.

ONIMIL-ONIon downy MILdew, a forecaster for primary infection of downy mildew on onion.
1996System analysis was applied to the onion/P. destructor pathosystem in order to understand better the relationships between factors influencing the establishment of primary infection. A preliminary model ONIMIL was developed.
