Unraveling the Charge‐Carrier Dynamics from the Femtosecond to the Microsecond Time Scale in Double‐Cable Polymer‐Based Single‐Component Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 12, Issue 3, January 20, 2022., 2022
To reveal the charge‐carrier dynamics in single‐component organic solar cells based on a double‐cable polymer, investigations across seven orders of magnitude in time scale are demonstrated. Thermal post‐treatment demonstrates a positive effect on charge generation in parallel to suppressed recombination.

A fast algorithm to find reduced hyperplane unit cells and solve N‐dimensional Bézout's identities

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section A, Volume 77, Issue 5, Page 453-459, September 2021., 2021
The paper describes a method to determine a short unit cell attached to any hyperplane given by its integer vector p. Equivalently, it gives all the solutions of the N‐dimensional Bézout's identity associated with the coordinates of p.Deformation twinning on a plane is a simple shear that transforms a unit cell attached to the plane into another unit ...

Inferences for Exponentiated Gamma Constant‐Stress Partially Accelerated Life Test Model Based on Generalized Type‐I Hybrid Censored Data

open access: yesComputational Intelligence and Neuroscience, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
In this paper, the exponentiated gamma distribution (EGD) with generalized Type‐I hybrid censored data under constant‐stress partially accelerated life test (CSPALT) model is considered. The Bayesian and E‐Bayesian estimation methods, as well as the maximum likelihood estimation method, are discussed for the parameter of the distribution and the ...

Allais, Ellsberg, and preferences for hedging

open access: yesTheoretical Economics, Volume 12, Issue 1, Page 377-424, January 2017., 2017
Two of the most well known regularities observed in preferences under risk and uncertainty are ambiguity aversion and the Allais paradox. We study the behavior of an agent who can display both tendencies simultaneously. We introduce a novel notion of preference for hedging that applies to both objective lotteries and uncertain acts.

Averrhoa carambola: A Renewable Source of Oxalic Acid for the Facile and Green Synthesis of Divalent Metal (Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, and Cu) Oxalates and Oxide Nanoparticles

open access: yesJournal of Applied Chemistry, Volume 2014, Issue 1, 2014., 2014
A green, simple, and environmentally benign synthetic approach has been utilised to obtain some bivalent metal oxalates from Averrhoa carambola juice extract, without any purification or special treatment of the juice. The main acid components (oxalic acid and ascorbic acid) of the juice were identified by HPLC technique.
