Averrhoa carambola: A Renewable Source of Oxalic Acid for the Facile and Green Synthesis of Divalent Metal (Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, and Cu) Oxalates and Oxide Nanoparticles

open access: yesJournal of Applied Chemistry, Volume 2014, Issue 1, 2014., 2014
A green, simple, and environmentally benign synthetic approach has been utilised to obtain some bivalent metal oxalates from Averrhoa carambola juice extract, without any purification or special treatment of the juice. The main acid components (oxalic acid and ascorbic acid) of the juice were identified by HPLC technique.

Hot, rocky and warm, puffy super-Earths orbiting TOI-402 (HD 15337) [PDF]

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics, 2019
Context. The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) is revolutionising the search for planets orbiting bright and nearby stars. In sectors 3 and 4, TESS observed TOI-402 (TIC-120896927), a bright V = 9.1 K1 dwarf also known as HD 15337, and found ...

MicroRNAs and Glucocorticoid‐Induced Apoptosis in Lymphoid Malignancies

open access: yesInternational Scholarly Research Notices, Volume 2013, Issue 1, 2013., 2013
The initial response of lymphoid malignancies to glucocorticoids (GCs) is a critical parameter predicting successful treatment. Although being known as a strong inducer of apoptosis in lymphoid cells for almost a century, the signaling pathways regulating the susceptibility of the cells to GCs are only partly revealed.

Targeting the PGD2/CRTH2/DP1 Signaling Pathway in Asthma and Allergic Disease: Current Status and Future Perspectives

open access: yesDrugs, 2017
Prostaglandin D2 (PGD2) released by degranulating mast cells is believed to play a key role in orchestrating mechanisms of inflammation in allergies and asthma.

Formal Codesign Methodology with Multistep Partitioning

open access: yesVLSI Design, Volume 7, Issue 4, Page 401-423, 1998., 1996
A codesign methodology is proposed which is suitable for control‐dominated systems but can also be extended to more complex ones. Its main purpose is to optimize the trade‐off between hardware performance and software reprogrammability and reconfigurability. The methodology proposed intends to cover the development of the whole system.

ADCT-402, a PBD dimer-containing antibody drug conjugate targeting CD19-expressing malignancies.

open access: yesBlood, 2018
Human CD19 antigen is a 95-kDa type I membrane glycoprotein in the immunoglobulin superfamily whose expression is limited to the various stages of B-cell development and differentiation and is maintained in the majority of B-cell malignancies, including ...

A Phase I Study of ADCT-402 (Loncastuximab Tesirine), a Novel Pyrrolobenzodiazepine-Based Antibody–Drug Conjugate, in Relapsed/Refractory B-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

open access: yesClinical Cancer Research, 2019
Purpose: ADCT-402 (loncastuximab tesirine) is an antibody–drug conjugate comprising a CD19-targeting antibody and pyrrolobenzodiazepine dimers. A first-in-human study evaluated the safety and preliminary clinical activity of loncastuximab tesirine in ...

L-type prostaglandin D synthase regulates the trafficking of the PGD2 DP1 receptor by interacting with the GTPase Rab4

open access: yesJournal of Biological Chemistry, 2019
Accumulating evidence indicates that G protein–coupled receptors (GPCRs) interact with Rab GTPases during their intracellular trafficking. How GPCRs recruit and activate the Rabs is unclear.

DP1 receptor signaling prevents the onset of intrinsic apoptosis in eosinophils and functions as a transcriptional modulator

open access: yesJournal of Leukocyte Biology, 2018
Prostaglandin (PG) D2 is the ligand for the G‐protein coupled receptors DP1 (D‐type prostanoid receptor 1) and DP2 (also known as chemoattractant receptor homologous molecule, expressed on Th2 cells; CRTH2).
