Abstract figure legend Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) variants in N terminal (NTD) and central domain (CD) but not pore domain induce a pathological RyR2 conformational shift upon protein kinase A (PKA) phosphorylation, similar to that seen in heart failure (HF), calcium/calmodulin‐dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII ...

Analysis of cranial endocast data of 181 extant and 41 fossil species from Euarchontoglires shows that there was a reduction in olfactory bulb size in Crown Primates, but that there were also subsequent reductions in various other primate clades (Anthropoidea, Catarrhini, Platyrrhini, crown Cercopithecoidea, Hominoidea).

Updated evidence on epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment for colonic diverticular bleeding
Abstract Since 2020, multiple large‐scale studies (CODE BLUE‐J) in Japan have accelerated the accumulation of evidence on colonic diverticular bleeding (CDB). This review summarizes the latest findings regarding CDB epidemiology and endoscopic hemostasis.

This ecological study of 47 Japanese prefectures demonstrates that regional medical costs are primarily driven by aging and chronic disease rather than atrial fibrillation catheter ablation, which was found to be a cost‐neutral intervention whose initial expenses are likely offset by the long‐term prevention of costly complications.

Abstract Phosphorylated intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs), such as Bcl2‐associated agonist of cell death (BAD) and Tau, play critical roles in apoptosis and neurodegeneration, yet their instability during recombinant expression due to degradation, aggregation, and dephosphorylation, has limited structural and mechanistic studies.

How state transitions balance photosynthetic electron transport in plants – a quantitative study
Summary In plants, the process of state transition regulates the allocation of sunlight energy between Photosystem II (PSII) and PSI. However, the implications of state transitions for harmonizing electron transport rates between photosystems, and a full quantitative picture of this process, remain underexplored.

This study explores the development of dual‐acting compounds combining σ1R agonists and histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACi). Key findings include compound 2d and 3a's high affinity for σ1R and favorable pharmacokinetic profile and an in vivo determined σ1R agonist profile by reversing the effect of the σ1R antagonist BD‐1063.
